An Austin bachelorette weekend
Itineraries · Austin, TX · 3 days
A 3-day Austin bachelorette plan: Rainey Street's bungalow bars, breakfast tacos, a swim at Barton Springs, South Congress, Uchi, Sixth Street and Texas barbecue before you fly home.
Austin is a bachelorette favorite for good reason: live music every night, great food at every price, and a spring-fed pool in the middle of town. This plan gives each night a different neighborhood and keeps the days easy, with barbecue as the send-off.

Tips
- Rainey Street and Sixth Street fill up after 10 PM on weekends. Start early to keep the group together.
- Barton Springs Pool stays around 68°F all year and has an entry fee. Check the pool schedule; it closes for cleaning one day a week.
- Franklin Barbecue lines start before it opens. Terry Black's is the easier send-off with a big group.
- From March to October, the bats fly out from under the Congress Avenue Bridge around sunset.
