Bring in a plan from a doc or AI chat

Paste a list

1. Copy the plan in Google Docs, Notes, a message or an AI chat.
2. In Freya, open the Plan tab, tap + and choose Paste a List, then tap Paste.
3. Tap Next. Freya finds each place in Apple Maps and puts each stop on its day and time.
4. Untick anything you don't want, then tap Add.

Day headings like "Day 2", "Saturday" or "Nov 11" and times like "9am" are picked up. Directions and descriptions under a stop go in its note. Anything without a day goes under If we have time.

Share to Freya

Skip copying: select the plan's text in Google Docs, Notes or an AI chat, tap Share, then Freya. Pick the trip and check the list. You can also share a PDF, or a web page with a plan on it from Safari.

Tip: Google Docs' Share button only shares a link, which Freya can't open. Select the text first and share the selection, or use Send a copy and choose PDF.

Planning with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

In Paste a list, tap Copy the prompt. Paste it into the AI chat with your plan, then paste the answer into Freya. The prompt asks for the Freya plan format, so every stop comes in with its day, time and address.

The format is one line per stop: time | type | place | note. For example: 9:00 AM | Do | Top of the Rock, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY | Book the sunset slot. Use Maybe instead of a time for If we have time ideas, and Stay | hotel, address | Day 1 to Day 3 for each place you're staying.

Messy docs

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Freya reads the plan with it, on your iPhone, so docs in any shape come out right. If the list looks wrong, tap Not right? to read it the other way.
